About the Author
Mark Haertzen
The Pope once called Mark Haertzen the second most interesting man in the world. Fluent in 27 languages (a poet laureate in five of them), Mark single-handedly mapped the human genome, invented the smartphone, and pioneered online banking. None of that is true, of course, but the stories in Stay Thirsty are.
Actually, Mark is a serial entrepreneur and is making his writing debut with this book. He is a native of Lexington, Kentucky and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. Mark enjoys playing poker, boating, going to the beach, and hanging out with family and friends. He lives with his wife, Debbie, in LaGrange, Kentucky. They have two grown sons and a granddaughter.

Michael E. Brown
Mike Brown, a.k.a. “Browny,” was dubbed “the world’s greatest wordsmith.” Granted it was by his mother, but most agree he’s “a damn good writer.” Once a soulless ad man, Browny now channels his wit, warmth, and knack for voice into thoughtful, engaging memoirs and other page-turners.
